Battery Systems Development Engineer (f/m/d)

Our battery team takes a holistic approach to developing the traction battery as a key component of every modern drivetrain, from concept development to the release recommendation for production. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of innovative battery concepts and components
• Development and optimization of technical solutions for the presentation of new functions within battery systems
• Technical coordination with internal specialist departments from the customer's battery development department and external suppliers
• Development of test methods for testing and verifying new battery concepts and hardware functions
• Supervision and coordination of principle tests in the early phase of concept development
• Optimization of battery systems in terms of service life, energy density, performance, safety and costs

 

YOUR PROFILE:

• Successfully completed university degree in engineering sciences
• Basic knowledge in the field of battery storage for automotive applications
• High level of organizational skills, strong in communication, strong in technology
• Good German & English language skills
• Willingness to travel for business trips (the place of work is Mlada Boleslav)
